This Privacy Policy explains how the Transmed Executive Education Program participant application (“the App”, “TM Nexus”) collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is provided by Transmed for enrolled participants, faculty, and program staff. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account & profile: your name, email address, phone number, job title, market/region, study group, and an optional profile photo — provided by the program organizers and/or by you.
- Content you create: posts, comments, reactions, chat messages, and photos or videos you share in the cohort feed, study-group chat, and gallery.
- Location (check-in): when you use the daily “slide to check in” feature, the App records the date, time, and your device’s GPS coordinates at that moment. Location is collected only when you actively check in — never in the background.
- Attendance & activity: check-ins, reading progress, poll/survey responses, and points on the leaderboard.
- Notifications: a push-notification token so we can send program alerts. Notifications are optional and can be disabled in your device settings.
- Basic device details submitted with an “App Feedback & Support” report (platform, OS version, app version) to help us resolve issues.
How we use your information
- To operate the program experience: agenda, materials, study groups, chat, feed, gallery, announcements, polls, leaderboard, and daily check-in.
- To record and confirm attendance/check-in on program days.
- To send you relevant program notifications.
- To respond to feedback and support requests and improve the App.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking. Your information is accessible to Transmed program organizers and administrators who run the program. Content you post (feed, chat, gallery) is visible to other participants as intended by those features. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting and media storage) solely to run the App on our behalf.
Data retention
We keep your information for the duration of the program and for a reasonable period afterward for program administration, then delete or anonymize it. You may delete your account from within the App (Profile → Delete my account), which removes your profile and profile photo.
Your choices & rights
- Edit your profile in the App at any time.
- Turn location and notification permissions on or off in your device settings.
- Delete your account from the App, or contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.
Security
Access requires authentication, data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to administrative data is restricted to authorized program staff.
Children
The App is intended for adult program participants and is not directed to children.
